Road Closures: Phase 2 of Various Stormwater Projects

Leake St. / Erwin St. Stormwater Improvement Project - Phase 2

We are now entering Phase 2 of the Leake St. / Erwin St. area stormwater improvement project. Starting Monday, July 15th, construction will move into the intersection of Leake Street and Erwin Street, which will be closed. Additionally, work will extend to a small portion of Erwin Street to the north of the intersection. This phase and associated closure are expected to last 3-4 weeks. Traffic will be redirected using Main Street, Bartow Street, West Ave, and Tennessee St. Please follow posted detour signs.

Terrell Heights Area Stormwater Improvements - Phase 2

We are also beginning Phase 2 of the Terrell Heights area stormwater improvement project. Affected streets include Plymouth Road and Woodland Drive. Residents may have already noticed materials and signage being staged for this project.

Construction for this phase is scheduled to start on Monday, July 15th, and is estimated to continue through early December. Work hours will be between 8 AM and 7 PM, with efforts to conclude by 5 PM on most days to minimize inconvenience to the surrounding residences. Residents of this area, we ask that you please drive carefully and watch for construction crews working in various locations on these streets. Be mindful of flaggers and signs indicating any traffic changes.
