Matt Santini, Mayor
Matt Santini began his tenure as the Mayor of The City of Cartersville in 2008. He works closely with the City Council and citizens to maintain the charm, quality of life, and small town feel that make Cartersville so appealing.
As the Mayor, and a citizen in a rapidly growing community, he strives to create a community where you have the opportunity to work, learn, live and play in connection with one another.

Mayor Santini graduated from Georgia Southern University with a B.S. degree in Marketing/Sales and Sales Management and Advertising. He is the Station Manager of a local radio station, and an Administrator for a local non-profit organization.
He is married to the former Anthia McStatts, and they have one daughter, Matalyn. Golf, football, baseball, and reading are a few of the ways he enjoys spending his free time, along with spending time with his family. Matt was born in Fairport, New York and grew up in Marietta. He and his family have resided in Cartersville since October of 1991.
