The Cartersville Parks and Recreation Department's twenty-seven full time employees have the responsibility of:
· supervising all programs
· operations and maintenance of:
> Dellinger Park
> Cartersville Baseball Complex
> Cartersville Civic Center (available for reservations)
> Gymnastics Center
> Gymnastics Plus
> Aubrey Street Recreation Gym
> Pine Mountain Recreation Area
> three swimming pools
> all vest-pocket parks & trails in the City
> miniature golf course
> Sam Smith Park
• Festival Area
• Etowah Riverwalk
• Senior Aquatic Center
> Cartersville Soccer Complex
Also the gazebo and four large covered shelters at Dellinger Park are available by reservation only.
The Cartersville Parks & Recreation Department are members of Georgia Recreation and Park Association and National Recreation & Park Association.
